Kim Armentrout

My name is Kimberly Armentrout and I am currently a thriving student at Washington State University. My field of study at WSU is Apparel Merchandising, where I am currently enrolled in a course focusing on fashion forecasting. In this course we have been divided into teams with a final goal of forecasting 2010’s line of Butler Bags. My team, “Peaceful Shipwreck” has, Andy Bennett, Jamie Carver, Sierra Cook, and Siena Moore collaborating for the 2010 forecast. Within my group and in my day-to-day life I exemplify: organization, hard working, goal driven, and creative attributes. I know these qualities will be the determining factor for my future in the fashion industry. I love fashion but I also love business; and apparel merchandising provides me the best of both worlds. Moving beyond academics, I am a very mature and professional woman. I have been a working woman since I was 16 and at many times I would work two jobs. This experience has led me to my current job as a manager at a well known community business. This extensive job experience has also provided me with the knowledge, professionalism, and experience to move on and thrive in the world of fashion.

Andy Bennett

Hello! My name is Andy Bennett. I am an Apparel Design Merchandising and Textiles major at Washington State University. I have a unique perspective on many things having to do with fashions because I am a male in a major full of females. I look forward to working with the Butler Bag Company in the near future.

Jamie Carver

Hi my name is Jamie Carver. I am a senior Apparel Merchandising major. I chose this major because of my interest in the business of fashion. I am very interested in learning and immersing myself in the ways of the industry. Qualities that I posses are, having an outgoing personality, working well with others, being quick learner, and am willing to explore new opportunities. Recently I was employed with GAP incorporation. While working full time, I was able to explore other areas of the business, such as window displays and floor sets. I think this will help greatly in the future with knowledge of how to attract the consumer to the product. I plan on going into the work force when I graduate college and am very excited about the knowledge and experiences I am taking away from my apparel classes at Washington State University.

Sierra Cook

My name is Sierra Cook and I am currently a senior at Washington State University. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Apparel Design. I interned in the sales collection accessories department at Michael Kors in the summer of 2008, where I specialized in working with handbags. I gained a lot of experience in the fashion industry. I look forward to working with your company.

Siena Moore

My name is Siena Moore. I am an Apparel Design major at Washington State University with an intended minor in Italian. I plan to study abroad in Florence, Italy in the spring, where I hope to gain a broader perspective of the world and of fashion. In addition to my interest in fashion, I love to travel. I have a list about a mile long of all the cities I want to visit while in Europe next semester. I hope that with the help from my fashion forecasting class and my experience abroad I will be able to bring a few new and different ideas to the fashion world.
